Creating a schedule.

To create a new schedule, click on the weekly schedules on the left-hand side menu and the new the top left-hand side of the screen you will then receive the following screen.

To create a new schedule complete the following steps.

  • Schedule name - for example, Factory mornings

  • Schedule Type - for this you have the following 4 options.

  1. Auto Select - this option is for a standard schedule for someone who works a set week 52 weeks a year. You can add multiple weeks to the same schedule and the system will choose the most relevant depending on the shift parameters. 

  2. Rotating - Rotating shift patterns are used continental shift pattern of a rotating pattern EG: week 1 day week 2 nights week 3 days week 4 nights.

  3. Split Shifts - Split shifts allows you to set two shifts per day. for example if a employee works in the morning. goes home before working a second shift later in the day. 

  4. Rostering - allows you to use the rostering module instead of a set shift patten. 

 

Schedule creation:

  • Apply the shifts - drag the required shift across the day you would like that shift to apply to, you can highlight multiple days using the shift key.

  • Apply days off - For any days off you can right-click on the day and select day off, note that if you drag a shift over the top of a day off this will make the shift optional E.g weekend overtime.

  • additional weeks - Mainly used for the rotating schedule type click new to add a new blank week, you can repeat the process until you have completed the cycle.

  • Rotating schedule - when setting up a rotating schedule you can select the current week.

Editing Schedules

To edit a schedule, use the drop-down menu at the top left of the screen and click edit at the bottom right from here you can swap shifts add days off are create an extra week.
